Brandon Soloff is an oil painter specializing in nudes, portraits and landscapes. He was born in New York City, though he grew up in many places such as Mexico City, Chicago and Boston. When he was 18 years old he moved to Florence, Italy to begin his studies with Charles H. Cecil where he remained for 3 years. While in Italy he began doing portrait commissions in Italy, Germany, Austria and England, which allowed him the opportunity to travel extensively and augment his studies by visiting many of Europe's finest museums.

After Florence he continued his studies with D. Jeffrey Mims for two years in Southern Pines, NC. Additionally, he apprenticed with Benjamin Long for the duration of the Transamerica Fresco Dome Project in Charlotte, N.C., studied sculpture with Martine Vaugel in both N.C. and France, and briefly worked at the Water Street Atelier in New York. He currently divides his time between New York City and Lyon, France.
